TV Jerry Seinfeld Reveals His Least Favorite "Seinfeld" Episode

Jerry Seinfeld Reveals Which Episode of "Seinfeld" is his Least Favorite (VIDEO)
05/22/2012

Jerry Seinfeld played "Plead The Fifth" on "Watch What Happens Live" Monday night.

Andy Cohen asked Jerry if he has a least favorite episode of "Seinfeld". It turns out that he does.

"There was one where a guy had a stroke and we were feeding him on the couch. I felt very uncomfortable with that episode. It was weird, the guy was in a wheelchair and uhhh... it was uncomfortable."

It turns out he was talking about a Season 3 episode called 'The Alternate Side'.

Wow, I don't even remember that episode! I remember one with a guy in a coma or something but that one was pretty funny. Interesting though. Wonder why he let them do that episode since it was mostly his show anyway if he was that uncomfortable with it. Maybe it didn't bother him that much at the time.

Elaine was dating an older gentleman and was about to break up with him but before she could have that conversation with him he had a stroke. Since they weren't broken up yet she felt compelled to take care of him. This included feeding him. Eventually it got to be too much for Elaine and she broke up with him anyway. (But only after having a discussion with Jerry about the ethics of breaking up with someone who has had a stroke.)

That's a great episode. I can understand why some, even Jerry, don't like it, but that's one of the most memorable lines in the entire series and George and Kramer steal the show. I'm not sure they could do an episode like that today, I'm actually surprised they got away with it in 1991.

Thanks, Marv! Is that the one where she's singing about the Yankee beans? I'll have to watch that one again. Sad that I can't remember which episode is which anymore!
