Once upon a time, I started a thread called "Caroline's Debut". This thread had to do with something that happened on "Gimme a Break!" that made me think of the year that "Caroline in the City" made its debut. In any event, it is now pushed back to the third page of this section. Most of what has pushed it there is my later attempts to stimulate some conversation about this fine series! In any case, I see that it now has has eighty-two views and zero replies. I have decided to commemorate this sitution by mentioning something that happened in a book that I read many years ago. Are any of you familiar with a series of books about a boy named Leonard who travels in a time machine? Well, when I was in third grade, I read a book from this series called "Leonard Visits the Ocean Floor". Early in this book Leonard travels from whatever year the story was written back to 1930. The way that the commemoration comes in is that eighty-two years ago, it was 1930! In any event, this series of books were written by a man named Gene Darby, thus the title of my thread!
