In nearly half the comments about Dark Shadows, the name Barnabas is misspelled Barnabus. this is a small thing, I realize, but it was even misspelled on the CD cover of the movie soundtrack recording which I was checking out the other day.

Second, you should familiarize yourself with the board rules. Link 3. Please do NOT correct other users spelling, punctuation, and/or grammar. This isn't English class - as long as the message is coherent enough to make it's point, that's all we ask. |

I was going by more than just the posters in these topics , Zoneboy. There are many reviews of all the Dark Shadows series and films, professional and otherwise, with this misspelling. Nowhere in my post did I single out anyone in this forum. If you were one of those who misspelled it here, sorry I hit a nerve. As far as meaningless goes, how about the multi-part posts on "The Honeymooners" page about Ralph and Norton being fans of current NHL games? Useless rubbish with no replies taking up way too much space on that page. I've also seen some Romney campaign propaganda pop up on these forums lately, so can we talk about "meaningless" not to mention inappropriate? Perpetuating the misspelling of a name or character is a disservice to the individual or character.
