Biggrin The Hub Acquires “ALF” and “Lois & Clark”

SitcomsOnline schedule story: http://blog.sitcomsonline.com/2012/0...k-nick-at.html

Cynopsis Kids reports that The Hub has acquired the ‘80s classic sitcom ALF. The series will air Mondays-Thursdays at 8:30pm ET starting June 4.
The Hub has also acquired the hour-long, live-action Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. The drama will air Sundays from 8-11pm ET starting June 3.
The network is also adding mini-marathons of other sitcoms Mondays-Thursdays from 9-11pm starting June 4. Mondays are out of this world with Mork & Mindy, Tuesdays will be Happy Days, Wednesdays learn The Facts of Life and Thursdays are magical with Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.
Stay tuned for The Hub’s full summer schedule, which should rollout on June 2.

Very good news! Liking both of these additions to the lineup. ALF has really not been aired recently aside from WGN America a couple years ago but that barely lasted. I just wish the Hub found more room for Family Ties, Wonder Years, and Doogie Howser. Are they still airing 5th grader at 8pm? They should get rid of that haha

Default Shows that HUB should get

Here are some shows I think that would be a perfect fit for the HUB:

Saved by The Bell
Boy Meets World
Blossom
Moesha
California Dreams
Hang Time
Family Matters
Step By Step

The Hub should get Diff'rent Strokes and Charles In Charge. BTW DSfan I remember when WGN aired it but it was for a 80s or classic TV celebration or marathon and all i remember watching from it was Family Ties and Alf. There was more showing airing but i forgot what else and i only watched the 2 shows i mentioned.

I remember they had WKRP in Cincinnati, Honeymooners, Newhart at first then came ALF along with Coach and the Cosby Show when they expanded the lineup. I have no recollection of Family Ties also being on there? Was it actually?

Family Ties was on their 80s marathon week, it was never on the regular lineup.

Those two would be GREAT choices for The Hub! I love how they've picked up so many sitcoms that have kind of disappeared over the last 10-12 years (mainly the '80s shows). The HUB is the new and improved Nick @ Nite. And they seem to give their shows a good chance, rather than taking them off after a week or two because the audience didn't catch on right away. I hope The Facts of Life is doing well enough in the ratings. I don't think it's been in syndication for 10 or 11 years.
