Default If NBC gave you two choices for next season what would you choose between.....

1. Order of 13 episodes

2. End the show

I would choose end the show because I have no interest in waiting until January to see the show again due to the 13 eps. It would make more sense to end it because most people would get used to not watching the show so when it comes back the ratings would be even lower.

What would you prefer? If they order 13 eps I will see season 9 on TBS lol

I would be surprised if any of the actors would even want to commit to a 13 episode season.

I'm not really sure why it's such a big deal? Plenty of shows have abbreviated final seasons. Even Friends did. It seems like the cast wants to move on so they're giving the show a little farewell season to tie up loose ends without forcing them to commit to a full year of production. They're doing the same thing with 30 Rock next year.

13 episodes doesn't necessarily mean it will be held until mid-season, they could start it in September and end it in January. We'll find out tomorrow when NBC releases their schedule.

I'm kind of surprised that The Office is only getting 13 episodes. Who would have guessed Parks and Recreation would have the largest episode order for a comedy!

I'd be somewhat surprised too, but at the same time it seems like the cast is ready to call it quits (they had problems renewing their contracts this year hence the 're-launch' rumors) so maybe they would only agree to a half-season.

It probably was after season 1 or 2 when it was just starting

Looks like they ordered a full season now...so it likely will air all season. More to come.
