'The Office' Season Finale's Ratings Fall To An Historic Low
According to Nielsen overnights, NBC’s “The Office” scored a modest 2.2 average rating in the key 18-49 demo -- the show’s lowest-rated season finale ever. The number was also down one-tenth of a ratings point from last week’s 2.3.

The American viewing public are a bunch of morons. What is the top show, Dancing with the (washed up) stars?
Last night's episode (5/10) was stupid but funny as hell. Last week's show was good too with that New York salesman. David Wallace is back in the picture. Dwight and Angela are back together. I know I am in the minority on this, but I think the show has gotten better without Michael Scott. AGAIN, IF THE WRITERS SEE THIS: MORE CREED! MORE CREED! MORE CREED! |

I liked the Family Portrait Picture episode. I thought it was pretty good with Andy pretending to be a janitor....everyone thinking he's going crazy, to David Wallace proving them wrong...Dwight stealing the diaper, the senator hitting on Oscar, etc., Darryl forming a bond with Val, ect. etc. It was a good episode, but IMO, the show will never be as good without Michael Scott.

Well since this has nothing to do with a gap between new episodes so I;m thinking some viewers stopped watching when Nellie became Manager and moved into Andy's Office. |

The Funny thing is the season finale was probably the best show of the season. This season seemed like it was almost sabatoged from the beginning. Just bad when compared to the other seasons. Spader was bad, The ellie character was even worse and Andy as manager was a bad decision for storylines. Shows how crucial the Michael Scott character was to the program.

I disagree, for a season ending episode it was kind of weak and there are actually other episodes during the season I liked a lot better.

Without Michael, it's just an average show. With Michael, it shines. I watch it ON DEMAND, every once in a while, if I stumble upon it with my remote.

I agree , a show needs a STAR and this show doesn't have one just a lot of good supporting characters. |
