Default C.Burnett Show is the best

talent, skill,of writers, and cast cannot be compared to drug induced cast of the 70's so it doesn't really matter.Anyone can confuse drug indused stupidity with being fresh and irreverant and tongue and cheek and then call it a new genre of comedy.Carol nor my dad or tim had to do drugs to be creative and brilliant unlike the SNL group of the Seventies.B.Crystal and Murphy saved SNL.They were the show along with joe piscopo.

Your dad is Harvey Korman?

I love Harvey Korman- he and Tim Conway were an awesome team and always cracked me up.

And besides Hedley Lamar (my friends and I always loved that name) from Blazing Saddles how can anyone forget Count de Monet from History of the World, Pt 1?

-The peasants are revolting.
(you said it, they stink on ice.)

-you look like the piss boy.
(and you look like a bucket of sh-t)

-don't get saucey with me Bernaise.

All classic.

Tell your dad to get on Mel's case and get High Anxiety released on DVD. Another classic Korman role.

He and Cloris Leachman were hysterical together in that.

1) Rowen and Martins "Laugh in". Dan Rowen looked so adorable in that tuxido! Hee hee. Can't forget about the party scenes.

2) Classic Tonight show with Johnny Carson.

3) Saturday night live (original cast)

4) Any Frank Sanatra / Rat Pack variety show
