Default TV Theme Songs sung by the actors who starred on the show!

You may have seen Carroll O'Connor and Jean Stapleton sing the theme to "All in the Family", but Nell Carter actually sang the theme song to "Gimme a Break" as well as have the lead role.

What other TV Shows had the main actors sing the Theme song?

Cybill Shepherd sang the theme song to "Cybill"... It was a version of the classic song "nice work if you can get it".

I don't think so. He may have helped write it. But I'm fairly sure he did not sing it. I believe Jennifer Warren and BJ Thomas sang it.

You are right. It was BJ Thomas. I'm sure that many of you already know this but Alan Thicke's ex- wife Gloria Loring sang the Facts Of Life theme song. I think that she also wrote it .

I thought I remembered Charlotte Rae singing part of the theme to FOL, at one point. (She wasn't one who could carry a tune, though! )
