Exclusive: "Leverage" Locks In Matthew Lillard

"Leverage" has nabbed Matthew Lillard for a Season 5 guest spot.

TVLine has learned exclusively that the actor — who co-starred in last year’s Oscar-winning The Descendants but remains best known for his polar opposite roles in Scream and Scooby-Doo — will drop by the TNT caper drama as Gabe Erickson, a corrupt businessman who has successfully evaded jail — that is, until Nate and Co. have their way with him.

"Leverage‘s" fifth season launches Sunday, July 15.

An an air date for Lillard’s ep is TBD.
