Default Who portrayed the past decade they were set in better? Happy Days or That 70s Show?

Both Happy Days and That 70s Show are known for setting in a Past Decade. Happy Days was set in 1950s but filmed in the 70s and That 70 Show was set in the 1970s but filmed in the late 90's- Mid 2000's.

What I am asking is: which show do you think portrayed the past decade they were set in better? Did Happy Days portray the 1950s better then That 70s show portrayed the 1970s? or was it Visa-Versa or was equal?

Happy Days portrayed the 50's pretty well in it's earlier years.

I didn't ask what show was better. I asked what show portrayed a past decade better. Read it again.

I loved Happy Days in the early years but gotta say That 70's Show was more realistic it its portrayal of the 70's. Especially Hyde. He portrayed the whole Zeppelin-lovin' stoner perfectly!

As I didn't live in the 50s or 70s it is hard for me to say, you could have thrown in the Wonders Years in the poll too.

Both shows definitely stereotyped the decades a little bit, not really a bad thing though.

the original poster should have added MASH to the choices.

The question isn't what show is better, but what show had a better portrayal.

I'd say Happy Days. The first season of That '70s Show portrayed the
'70s really well and almost won... but in seasons 2-8, the show didn't really depict the '70s that much. They were just wearing '70s jeans and T-shirts, but it could have been any decade.

I disagree, I'd say the first season of HAPPY DAYS. After that it was set in the 70s/early 80s with just a little bit of the 50s mixed in occasionally.

And THAT 70s SHOW was at first like you said, but just a little bit.
