For quite a while, I have been rotating between this page and the pages of Gimme a Break!, Happy Days and Mad About You. Overall, I have had very little success in stimulating any conversation about these fine shows! I have tried very hard to think of topics regarding these shows that I would think that fellow viewers might be interested in. For quite a while, it had been quite some time since anyone other than me had posted anything on this page as well as the "Gimme a Break!" or "Mad About You". However, over on "Happy Days" I would see about an average of a post a day. I wondered what there was about that has-been show that made it any different than these other three has-been shows. One idea that I had was that "Happy Days" had been on prime-time for eleven years and none of the others had a run that even came close to that amount of time. In any event, I raised this issue in the form of a thread on the "Gimme a Break!" page. Believe it or not, someone actually responded to this thread! This response came on the 27th of April and it is the most recent post by anyone other than me on any of these other three pages. This poster wrote that, like it or not, "Happy Days" has remained a bigger part of pop culture than any of the others which are mostly forgotten. "Happy Days" repeats are still being shown on both cable stations and commercial stations. While it has been years since any of these other shows have been syndicated on any stations that this poster knows about. I am now posting this thread to see if I can get a second opinion on this topic. Bye!
