Angry No Offense to the Late Barbara Colby, But, Her Character Sherry Was So Dang Annoying!

Again, I mean no disrespect and I really don't remember her on Phyllis, but on TMTMS, her whiny voice was really irritating. Anybody else agree? Disagree?

Didn't care for the character much myself, but as you said, no disrespect to Ms. Colby.

Sure she was very memorable, I mean who could forget that green dress she made for Mary...

As for the likability of the character, I guess Retro and I are in the minority because she guested on MTM a couple of times and then starred on Phyllis.

I saw the episode with her last week when Mary was trying to get her a job but the character was like who is going to hire her and she only has a background of doing hooker work?

Then when Ted's girl was going to get her a job at some place and asked her this question I was LOL

"Are you good in dealing with the public?

I;m surprised mary was allowed to wear a dress like that on CBS in 1975

I really like Barbara Colby but everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Barbara had a great gift for comedy and always had a twinkle in her eye,so
tragic, she was killed in a motiveless shooting, she and Cloris Leachman had a great rapport on "Phyllis",when Liz Torres took over the role,it just wasn't the same and indeed the Julie character was dropped after season1.

From the name Liz Torres, I think this is the woman who also played the housekeeper on All in the Family
