I've always found this UM segment fascinating. The horrible tornado that swept through Oklahoma in the 40's and a little girl surviving the tornado but disappearing never to be found. If this letter writer is legit she may have never been lost at all.

Sadly, I think it sounds like a total hoax. But I've always liked to believe that she survived the tornado.
