"What Carol Brady Thinks" Coming to Nickelodeon's NickMom Block - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Nickelodeon has picked up three new series for its ad-supported NickMom primetime programming block.

"The Judi and Kate Show" will follow two video-blogging moms who resemble a modern-day "Laverne and Shirley." Starting with a 20-episode order, "Judi and Kate" is exec produced by Coolfire Prods. ("Welcome to Sweetie Pies").

In addition, Nick ordered 26 episodes of "Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder Taylor," which will mix interviews, monologues and panel discussions with hidden-camera, mom-on-the-street and sketch comedy. Author and comic Taylor is exec producing with Hugh Fink.

Nick has also committed to 26 episodes of "What Carol Brady Thinks," which will incorporate graphic overlays with the original "Brady Bunch" series to go deeper inside the mind of that show's iconic mom. Jim Burns is exec producing.

The trio joins previously announced standup series "NickMom Night Out" among the shows that will help form the NickMom block that is launching in the fall.

"Nickelodeon has built a strong relationship with moms over the years, and we see a great opportunity to serve them with content just for them with NickMom," said NickMom senior veep Bronwen O'Keefe. "The pick-ups of "The Judi and Kate Show" and "Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder Taylor" underscore our strategy to create original content on air, online and for mobile that will tap into the unique humor that moms understand."
