Former cast member Dana Delany, whose return was announced earlier this season, will appear in "Desperate Housewives'" series finale, TVGuide.com has confirmed. Katherine left the series at the end of Season 6 to run off to Paris with girlfriend Robin (Julie Benz). In real life, Delany left to star on another ABC drama, "Body of Proof", which just wrapped production on Season 2.
