Episode #4 -"Mother, Meet What's His Name"
This was a good episode from first season, with one of the funniest scenes with Endora asking Darrin(Dick York)what kind of mother in law he'
d like-Then changes herself into-a whistler's mother type mother-in-law,an old west type mother in law,and a mod,motorcycle-riding mother in law.A great scene,with a good romantic ending.Any comments? |

And ANOTHER funny scene occurred at the very beginning with Gladys(Alice Pearce)calling Abner on a phone that hadn't been hooked up yet.Earlier,Samantha called Darrin on that same phone,(he looked somewhat bewildered). As for Gladys,it was hysterical when she left the Stephens' house, she stopped, realiozed she was talking on a phone that hadn't been connected, and her reaction was priceless.A very funny episode.

I think it's one of the funniest episodes from the first season. You can easily tell why "Bewitched" was the No. 2 rated show in all of television that year!
