Rachel was so insecure and only wanted Ross and Joey when - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

That's what makes me mad about the Ross character. Why did he have to be so submissive and allow himself to be controlled by Rachel when he was with someone else?

It's like Rachel just automacially started feeling bad about herself when she saw those guys were no longer available

But this is how women is in real life so I can this show had some realism LOL

I remember Rachel was really lusting after Joey when he was with Charlie. Then Joey and Charlie broke up so she could get with Ross. Joey was free to be with Rachel but that didn't last. Before that, I remember Rachel had it really bad when Ross was to marry Emily. It seemed like Rachel's intrest in Ross became a problem for her when her and Joshua broke up.

Joey met Charlie through Ross and later that night, Joey had a 'Days of our Lives' party up on his roof. At the end of the episode, Rachel and Ross both saw Joey kissing Charlie. Their relationship didn't last too long because they had nothing in common....Charlie being super smart and Joey being a bit of a ditz...lol....

They never had sex. They just fooled around for the whole day or so that they were together.

Nothing led up to the kiss. Nothing at all! They first met for like 2 or 3 seconds at Monica and Rachel's apartment. Then that night, after Charlie was telling Ross about her last boyfriend (a nobel prize winner) Ross went off to get drinks. Then Rachel is telling Monica that she wants to kiss Joey, but when she goes to look for him, she sees him smooching with Charlie. Ross then walks up and sees it too. Nothing led up to the kiss. I guess they both just found each other attractive. They never had anything to talk about!

See I thought it was something N@N cut out and I was ready to buy the DVD-lol

I was wondering what did Joey do in order to start making out with her. I watched that ep 2 times and I was like...."something was CUT out" LOL

But see I never saw Joey meet Charlie for the first time. Was it off screen or was it edited out of the episode? All I saw was the kiss

A few hours before Joey's 'Days of our Lives' party on the roof, he came over to Monica's place in a robe. He was going to tell her he was sick and that he was going to bed because he didn't want her to know about his secret party. Ross was at Monica's introducing his collegue Charlie. So Joey did meet Charlie for like a few seconds. All he said to her was "nice to meet you." Monica knew that Joey was faking about being sick, so she yells "take off the robe" and when Joey takes off the robe, he's in his underwear.
