Drool PEOPLE Names Blake Shelton "Country's Hottest Guy"

Blake Shelton: People Country's Hottest Guy
Mar 29th 2012
by Erin Duvall

While mainstream media has only become acquainted with Blake Shelton over the past year (thanks to the popularity of "The Voice"), we in country music have cherished his wit, music and good looks for more than a decade.

Proving that no amount of television success can take him away from his roots, People Country has named the 'God Gave Me You' singer 'Country's Hottest Guy.'

"I think it's funny because there is nothing about me, if I was a girl, that I would think is sexy," the 6'5" singer tells the magazine for the issue, which hits newsstands tomorrow (March 30).

However, Blake's wife, Miranda Lambert, naturally disagrees, calling him "striking and tall."

"The minute he opens his mouth and starts talking to you, he makes you smile," she says. "That's what made me think, 'Oh my gosh, this guy is awesome.'"

Other country studs to make the list include last year's hottest guy Keith Urban and 2010 honoree Tim McGraw.

In addition, Brad Paisley, Chris Young, Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Scotty McCreery, Josh Turner and David Nail earned honorable mentions.

"I could say what everybody always says: you don't see me in the morning," David said with a laugh at the news, "but I know that this is a huge complement – and it's nice to know people think you're desirable. I think in my case, the music has a lot to do with it."

Blake is currently juggling his tour with taping "The Voice".
See him next at Country Thunder in Florence, Ariz., on April 14.

If a six foot and five inch male is what they were looking for, they have the WRONG male. To me, there is no one, tall, short, or average, that is better than my most favorite male named James Otto who is also six foot and five inches, I love him SO much!!!

God bless you and him always!!!

^^^ Hey! If you are referring to my favorite, AMEN!!!

I have a chat about him here that includes links to his singing if you would like to hear some of his material, I love him SO much!!!

Here is a shot of him at last year's ACM award show! Its just too bad that James will not be at tonight's show. According to his Twitter page, his out of state family came to visit him in Nashville this weekend.

God bless you and James and his family always!!!

^^^ Oh my gosh, YES!!! His voice in my opinion is sexy HOT and country soul is what James sings!!! Here are the links to several of my most favorite performances of his. I hope that you like him!!!

"Dam* Right" -from his second album named Sunset Man

"Never Say Good Bye" -from his first album named Days Of Our Lives

"Lets Just Let Go" -from his third and newest album named Shake What God Gave Ya!

"You Don't Act Like My Woman" -also from his Sunset Man album and co-written and co-produced by Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts

"The Blues Can't Find Me Here" -from his first ever live online performance

“A Groovy Little Summer Song” -also from his album named Shake What God Gave Ya!

“Soldiers & Jesus” -also from his album named Shake What God Gave Ya!

"Till That Sun Comes Around Again" -also from his album named Shake What God Gave Ya! (This performance is in front of a crowd that I was a part of in late January of last year. I was standing just a little bit to his left.)

“I Got Your Back” -This is a song that James wrote not too long ago.

God bless you and James always!!!

Holly

P.S. Go here to see the video for the song that James is most known for right now named "I Just Got Started Loving You" which went on to be the #1 country song of 2008.

OK, I watched a few of his videos. He has a pretty good voice. I liked his video for "I Just Started Loving You" the best I think. I also liked "Let's Just Go."

James Otto is pretty good!

Hi, Holly. I think you have turned me into a bit of a James Otto fan. I watched the rest of his videos, and I really liked them. I hope his 4th album will be a success!

^^^ Thank you so much! I love spreading the word about him and I pray that James is able to have more success too because sadly the only song from him on the radio that has ever gone anywhere is "I Just Got Started Loving You" and if you want to listen to them too, here are the songs that went to radio after that one which in my opinion should have done just as well if not better!

"For You" -from his Sunset Man album

"These Are The Good Ole Days" -from his Sunset Man album

"Since You Brought It Up" -Because this song was never placed on an album, it is only available where ever songs can be purchased online.

"A Groovy Little Summer Song" from his album named Shake What God Gave Ya!

"Soldiers & Jesus" -from his album named Shake What God Gave Ya!

God bless you and him always!!!
