Drool 1988 Comedy 'Twins' Is Getting A Much Needed Sequel Called 'Triplets'....NOT!

Is the world ready for a sequel to Twins?

Universal and Montecito Picture Co. are hoping to develop a doozy of a follow-up to the 1988 hit comedy that starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito that would reunite the two stars.

But wait, there’s a twist: In the new scenario, Eddie Murphy would act as a third brother.

Titled Triplets, the story would see Schwarzenegger and DeVito as brothers Julius and Vincent, conceived experimentally, who discover they have third sibling.

The project doesn’t have a director at this early stage -- Ivan Reitman, who helmed the original, would only act as a producer with his Montecito Picture Co. cohorts Joe Medjuk, Tom Pollock and Ali Bell, according to sources -- but the hunt is on for writers to develop the idea. Insiders caution that no substantial creative discussions have taken place between Universal and Montecito.

The actors are attached to star.

This wouldn’t be the first sequel to an 1988 film that Universal is working. The studio is developing a sequel to Midnight Run that sees Robert De Niro, one of the film’s two original stars along with Charles Grodin, returning in an incarnation to be directed by Brett Ratner.

I don't wanna see a Twins sequel and there shouldn't be a Midnight Run sequel either. Robert Deniro is too old to be chasing after criminals LOL.

It amazes me how Eddie Murphy can still be allowed to make movies.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I agree. He's really disappointed me with the wack movies he continues to make. Pretty soon he's gonna have more wack movies than good movies in his catalog LOL. His agent needs to be fired or either he's the one that's looking at these wack scripts and saying he wants to do these wack movies because the only reason i can see why he's doing wack movies is because he needs the money to take care of all them kids he got hahahahahahahahahahaha.

I doubt he needs the money, but then again, you never know.

Don't be surprised if you hear that he's having financial problems. Public doesn't know what these entertainers money situation is like. We may think that they're rich because of what they do but we don't know what their money situation is. Eddie's movies have made a lot of money but i wouldn't be surprised if he's having money problems. Like i said, he has a lot of kids and it takes a lot of money to take care of kids. I can't believe this is the same guy who did the classics 48 Hrs, Another 48 Hrs, Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2, The Golden Child, Harlem Nights, Coming To America, comedy concert Raw, Life, Boomerang. Metro movie is pretty good also. So why all of a sudden is he just doing any movie? I think he's having money problems if he's allowing himself to do any movie and it doesn't matter to him if the script is wack. Wack movies he's done should've never been made. I can't believe i wasted money on his A Vampire In Brooklyn, The Distinguished Gentleman and Nutty Professor movies hahahahahahahaha. His buddy Martin Lawrence has been doing some bad movies these last few years also. I wish he would leave them Big Momma's House movies alone. He doesn't need to make those anymore. I heard there's gonna be a Bad Boys 3 and i would like to see that because i liked the first two.
