Default No one knows why the HUB removed the "Around the Clock" opening theme?????

I noticed they replaced the around the clock theme with the "Happy Days" theme song. Anyone know why?

I never seen this done on any station that aired happy days in syndication

my guess is that is the way they received them in the syndication package - they have a different company distributing them than before (or at least its a different name/managed company) and its probably cheaper without paying for the "Rock Around the Clock" theme

So would it be the same thing if happy days was aired on a local or digital channel? Or do you think this is a cable thing?

i don't know if they handle local network syndication packages the same as cable, but I think they have a tendency to err on the side of whatever is as cheap as they can possibly get away with

I know when CBS took over Paramount TV at the end of 2006 after Season 1was released on DVD (With Rock Around the Clock) they were too cheap to pay for the music for Seasons 2-4 including Rock Around the Clock for Season 2.

That's not entirely true. Only the season-two DVD was severely butchered. All the others appear to be mostly, if not completely, intact.
