HBO has revealed three new promos for "True Blood" season 5, which is kicking off this summer.

These video bites offer no new footage, really, but revisit Fangtasia, Bill's house and Sookie's house.

The official Facebook page for the series ran these, stating, "You can't escape your past..."

"True Blood" returns this summer for its fifth season, and it looks like things are going to be pretty explosive.

The first taste of the new season gives glimpses of most of the major characters, though Tara, who took a bullet in the Season 4 finale, is conspicuously absent.

(Based on the big explosion at the end, Tara might not be the only person in mortal danger.)





It's safe to say Bon Temps will be as sexy and violent as ever.

"True Blood": Scott Foley's In Trouble in Season 5 Teaser (VIDEO)

Waiting sucks, especially if you're Scott Foley's "True Blood" character and there's a gun to your head.

In the newest "True Blood" teaser, Foley's Patrick and Terry (Todd Lowe) are ambushed -- by somebody they know, it seems -- and questioned about being followed ... not necessarily by somebody, but by "anything."

Apparently, not even Terry's past gets to stay buried.



When we last saw the fine folks of Bon Temps, Tara had gotten shot in the head, Alcide had confessed his love for Sookie and Foley's character had just arrived in town.

"True Blood" returns to HBO Sunday, June 10 at 9 PM ET/PT. The show’s fifth season will contain 12 episodes and will be the last season of the program overseen by show runner Alan Ball.

They continue to roll out promo, this time celebrating “Maker’s Day,” or the day each vampire was born. Clever girl.
