The Blind Side

I saw The Blind Side for the first time tonight, it's really good. I know Sandra Bullock won her 1st Oscar for it, did the actor who played Michael and the actual film get nominated/win? And what is Michael's name irl?

That year the only other OSCAR nomination for The Blind Side was for Best Picture and it lost to The Hurt Locker.

Michael Oher was played by Quinton Aaron.
