Madderest Just found 40 mins before 9pm there is no episode airing tonight...damm

I was about to get my dinner started so it could be ready by 8:58pm and I turned to NBC to see what tonight's episode would be about and then discovered that it will be 2 eps of 30 Rock airing at 8:30pm and 9pm

why???????????

And on top of that it's TWO NEW EPS. When the hell were there ever 2 new eps of the Office airing back to back? My face is hot enough to fry a egg on

LOL

Remember Sol, 30 Rock is a mid season replacement and has plenty of episodes to go before May Sweeps.

Um, what? NBC has aired The Office back-to-back more than any other show on the Thursday night line-up. The entire first portion of Season 4 was comprised of hour long episodes...

30 Rock fans went seven months without any new episodes this past fall. Community fans had to deal with a sudden forced hiatus with no scheduled return date this spring. Parks & Rec fans had their show pushed to mid-season last year and are now in the middle of a 5 week hiatus. I think Office fans can deal without it for a week.

Dude, or maybe just watch 30 Rock. It's actually a wonderful show. Even fans of the Office I know admit that it isn't what it used to be. I think you can handle missing it for a week. Plus, what Joe said.

Maybe not this season, but they did it last year, and they did it when they chose it as their Super Bowl lead-out show in 2009...they've done it plenty of times. 30 Rock only had a few weeks of double episodes because NBC ordered a full 22 episode season but it didn't premiere until January because of Tina Fey's pregnancy. Not because they like 30 Rock better or anything.

30 Rock is a good show, but I don't think it is a show up Solomon's alley.
