Default Goof: When Michael Joined The Warlords Gang, Also

I was watching the episode when Michael Joined The Warlords Gang. Remember when Florida Found The Junior Warlords Gang Jacket Burning In The Oven And she thought the gang jacket belonged to JJ, well the goof was when JJ held the Jacket and said; this jacket is not mines, I am not a Junior, however the word warlord was on the Jacket as well. JJ is a Junior, they call him Junior and how come he did NOT say I am not a Warlord SMH.....

2. Remember when the gang leader that Michael had jumped on fighting and confirmed that he was no longer in the gang: the gang leader is the same kid that was on Sandford and Son, the fat kid that was hiding on the truck who Fred was playing cards with who thought his mother did not want him anymore...that's him

3. If this was Michael's first time joining the Warlord's gang, How did Florida know exactly where the Warlords Gang Hang Out Spot was located?

They lived in the hood, I am sure everyone knew where the gang's hang out spot was in the projects.

JJ was also a member, for a little while anyways, of the Warlords. He got shot. He may have told his mom or pointed out to her where the Warlords and the Junior Warlords hung out.

Only on a sitcom can a middle age woman scare 3 thugs with a bat inside their own territory-LOL

In real life they would have tackled the sh*T out of Florida and whupped her and Michael's a$$ LOL

And the gang leader was the kid from Sanford and Son but he looked so much older. On s&S he was like 9 which was in 1972 but in the GT ep that aired in 1976 he looked 17............LOL

Let me check his age right now

Ok in the sanford and son ep he was 11 in real life which made him 15 on Good Times.

BTW: Ratbone's last acting appearance was a year later and he never acted again-lol

Yeah his name is Lincoln Kilpatrick Jr.. His father was a respected actor named Lincoln Kilpatrick who played a crazed killer in the 1974 "blaxplotation" thriller Together Brothers. His brother Erik(who I guess was the one who got his father's acting ability) played Curtis Jackson on the late 70s TV show "The White Shadow".

This episode is so, so stupid. There's NO WAY those kids would have backed down to Florida just because she was holding a baseball bat. How come someone didn't pick up a board or a pipe or something? And even if those punks were frightened over the bat, in real life at least one of them would have chased after them. Four against two? I have a hard time believing those *******s broke one kid's jaw and another kid's arm if they could be scared by Florida of all people. And one other thing, wouldn't they have retaliated at some point? Surely they knew where the Evans' lived and would have gotten even another time. They sure wanted Florida's wedding ring...

He meant he's not a junior in the sense of being a child. He wasn't being literal about his name.

Remember Florida was hosting a meeting about gang violence, and during the meeting the man mentioned that the gang hung out across the street.

Exactly, 3 Teens would have had no problem getting a bat away from a middle aged woman lol

I can't believe there wouldn't be any retaliation. They would have come after her later: broken in the apartment, beat her, and taken the ring. I love how in "Good Times Land," you're left alone to live in peace once you decide you don't want to be in a gang. The Junior Warlords should have changed their name to the Junior Pansies.

One of the WORST things you can allow to happen as a parent with children is to allow them to live in the projects. The violence alone is enough to make you look yourself in the mirror and say. ."As a parent, I am a FAILURE." Oh, yeah, if you Cant Afford 'em....Don't HAVE 'em.

I understand that and in order to relate to that episode to be correct, JJ should have said first, that he is NOT a Warlord Gang Member while holding that gang jacket, because his legal name is Junior.....
