While shows like 'That Girl' and 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show' portrayed women in the utmost positive light, has '2 Broke Girls' continued that legacy of uplifting comedy or has it set it backwards?

I don't know. I've heard TBG described as a modern version of Laverne & Shirley and I think that's a good description...although a much raunchier version. lol L & S was never a critical favorite. It just was funny and survived on the talents of it's 2 leads. I think that's what TBG does. It's not out to be a trailblazer....it's just there to make you laugh and it does. lol
