Also in 'Father of the Year', the entry deadline was at midnight. Did the postal service pick up the mail at midnight???

They do it on April 15th, and have on some other occasions as well. Of course, the plot suggests it was winter, when it gets dark earlier so it may have been as early as 5:30 when Marcia mailed the letter.
