I remember Jack Riley making one cameo appearance. It was one of the episodes that guest-starred Melanie Chartoff as a psychologist/marriage counselor. Riley was one of her patients, I think.

Yes, he was a patient. He made the remark to Dick that he was trying to undo the damage that a psychologist in Chicago did. Lol, one of my favorite moments in the show.

Actor Bill Quinn, who appeared as "Eddie" on The Bob Newhart Show, played a minister on Newhart in two episodes. Quinn might be better known as playing Mary's father, Walter Richards, on The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

That's one of my favorite episodes! We were introduced to Tommy Lee and Tish. And of course" Chuck and Dawn" were there!

also as Dr. Melnick on "THE ODD COUPLE" & Mr. Vandaleer on the last season of "ALL IN THE FAMILY" and on "ARCHIE BUNKERS PLACE" (I think his name was Mr. Vandalere-he was the blind guy who used to hang out at Archies bar)

also Julia Duffy, Peter Scolari, Jack Riley, Marcia Wallace, Peter Bonerz and some of the actors who played the members of Bob Hartleys therapy group all guest-stared in an episode of Bobs sitcom GEORGE & LEO.

O, and also the guys who played Larry, Daryl, and Daryl.

Don Rickles and Tim Conway were on because they are friends of Bobs in real life.
