I MET LISA!!!!!!!(Guess who I am in the pic)
I had the time of my life! it was so great.I guess I should start from the beging.(I feel sorry for you people because I could go on forever)Oh someone wanted to know where I went,I went to Orange Tx which is about 3 hours from where I live.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sunday morning I got up about 10 minutes till 6am I got dressed and made sure I had everything I needed,I really wanted to make sure I had every thing That I wanted her to sign.Which was one pic "The Lisa and Velma one"(You guys were right it was Lisa's Nanny)My books"The Facts of Life and other Things my Father Taught me"and"Tv Super Stars Scrapbook"her Album"All because of You"I did not have her sign my tape cuz it was in very bad shape.And then all the stuff that my mom wanted her to sign, "The New Micky Mouse Club Lunch box"and both of Lisa's books,and The book I bought for my friend. Then My mom and I got into the Van at about 7:45 to warm it up and we waited for my friend.My friend came at 8:00 and then we found room in the van for her stuff and left.(My mom's van can hold 7 people,This weekend it could hardly hold 3 people with over 10 bags,1 cooler,and 6 pillows)(And we even packed light) About 3/4 hours later and after getting lost three times we found the hotel.We checked in found our rooms(My friend and I had our own room so my mom could sleep)unpacked some things then we left to find some place to eat. We ate at a pizza hut then after we ate we went shopping then back to the hotel where my friend and I played clue,and listened to cd's till 4:15 when we got dressed. I wanted to look nice so I brought a skirt and a top along but my friend asked if we could ware pants and a nice shirt since she was speaking at a High School.My mom said fine so we got dressed fixed our hair and add some make-up grabed our coats and purses and the stuff for Lisa to sign and left. We got there found a seat and waited till 6pm when she would be speaking.Around that time the church that was hosting the event was trying to get the sound system to work. At one point we saw Lisa and her family walk on the stage.I was almost jumping up and down in my seat.I leaned over to my friend and told her she could slap me at any time. At 6 we sang some songs then we sat down and The time finely came Lisa stood up and walked on stage. She spoke about her family then had question and answer time.I was to nervous to think of a question so I just listened. Lisa was great! At the end she prayed and asked about slavation when she praying I was shaking I could really feel the holy spirit in the room.I've never felt anything like that since I was saved when I was 10 back in 96/97.Whoever said in the post when I said I was leaving to met her that said"You will not be disappointed"(sp?) was more then right. After the prayer she had book a signing.We were some of the first people in line. While my mom and friend were in line I asked my mom for some money then stood in line for to pics of Lisa.Steve handed them to me and gave me change.(His voice really is not that deep) Then I went back in line where I got my things out of the bag and held them TIGHT. Right when I took the album out half the people around us start to ask us about the album.Then I heard some people taking about Nancy Mckeon and saying that she was on some cop show like LA law or something.I wanted to say "You idiots!Shes on "The Division"which is on Life Time Which is on Now." Then some lady came over and start to move my pictures and books in place to help Lisa.I was ok with that till she BENT MY ALBUM! Im still not happy about that. Then it was my turn I was now shaking as I put the stuff on the table.Lisa asked my name and how to spell it.She asked me where I got her album and I said e-bay.I had her sign everything.Her daughter Haven was next to her and when I had her sign the picture of Lisa and Velma Haven asked"Is that Nanny"Lisa said"Yes" You all were right. She then asked me where I lived.I told her then she said thats an hour from where her Nanny lives and that she goes there to eat and shop.(I almost died right there,She has been where I live,Maybe I'll see her sometime.) She was shocked to see The lunch box and more shocked when she opened it and saw that it had a thermos(SP?my spelling is bad)She said that it is very rare to find a lunch box with a thermos.She tried but couldn't find one. Then my friend and I had our picture taken with her she put her arm around me,I am never washing my coat.My mom took 4 pictures.The 4 one was taken cuz lisa said that the third one did not take.Lisa saved the day when she said that cuz my mom took the pics in today and only the 4th one turned out and it was a bit fuzzy but I fixed it when I scaned it on my computer.It should look better. When I stood up I droped one of my books,At the time all I wanted was my book.But later my mom said that Lisa took her shoes off and felt strange when I went to get my book.I really didn't care if she was bare footed I just wanted my book. My mom gave her some parenting book that lisa never heard of before we left.Then my mom and frined left and I quickly told her something I always wanted to tell her ever since I heared her album.I told."You are a very talented singer."she then said."Thank-you very much"Then we left. That night I was on a Lisa high and did not come off it till 1am.Now im bak on it. I had a great time!!!!!!! Hey! It sounds like you had a GREAT time! Thanks so much for all the detail and I love your picture. I am guessing you are the one with the purple flower and leather jacket. And all of the things you brought for her to sign are right next to you. Am I right?
