Exclusive: Felicia Day to Hack Into "Supernatural"

The "Dungeon Master" has orchestrated a fun adventure for "Supernatural". Geek worlds collide in an upcoming episode when someone from the Whedonverse gets mixed up with the Winchester brothers.

Executive producer Sera Gamble tells TVGuide.com exclusively that Felicia Day will guest-star on the April 27 episode titled 'The Girl With the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo'.

"We were so stoked that she agreed to do the episode because we're all fan girls and boys here," Gamble says.





The title is a reference to the bestselling Steig Larsson crime novel The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and the acclaimed big-screen adaptation of the same name.

Like Larsson's protagonist, Day will portray a young woman who's handy with a computer.


"Felicia plays a girl named Charlie who is sort of a lowly tech working in one of Dick Roman's companies," says Gamble. "She's an amateur computer hacker and unwittingly gets wrapped up in Sam and Dean's problems. It's a classic story of an everyday girl who does not want to be in a whistleblower position."

Felicia Day may play a computer hacker on her upcoming episode of "Supernatural", but she'll wield more than just a keyboard.

In the episode, she'll play a computer-savvy lady named Charlie whom the Winchester brothers meet while investigating Dick Roman (James Patrick Stuart), the billionaire who was taken over the by the leader of the Leviathans.

Day's character is a tech in one of his companies and somehow gets mixed up in Sam and Dean's problems.

Geek goddess Felicia Day will reprise her role of Charlie in an episode titled 'LARP and the Real Girl.' Um, can someone explain…?

“That is our live-action role-playing episode,” show boss Jeremy Carver shares. “We will discover that young Charlie Bradbury, in running from her past life, has found herself a new life in a new community. Basically, she has fallen into the welcoming arms of a community of LARPers.”

Watch for Day’s return to air in mid-January.

"Supernatural" Scoop: Felicia Day Books Third Visit

Fresh off her day of LARPing with the Winchester boys, Felicia Day has booked a third visit to The CW’s "Supernatural", it was announced on Tuesday during a press screening.

Whereas Day’s character, überhacker Charlie Bradbury, previously got caught up in Sam and Dean’s battle with Dick Roman, then was stumbled upon by them inside a LARPing community, the third time around she will bring a case to the brothers, during the latter part of Season 8.

She’s baaaaaack!

LARPing hacker Charlie (Felicia Day) is back for her third "Supernatural" appearance in the April 24 episode, but this time around, instead of Dean and Sam delving into her world, it’s going to be Charlie who’s a little out of her element.



In the episode, Dean (Jensen Ackles) benches Sam (Jared Padalecki) from hunting because he’s still suffering side-effects from the second trial. So when Charlie calls with a case, Dean decides it’s time for her to hone her hunting skills and gives her some lessons in Hunting 101 (complete with cheap pant-suit!).

Things take a turn, however, when Dean and Sam begin to suspect that Charlie is hiding a secret that could get her killed.
