"Bones" creator Hart Hanson is Pretty Confident of A Season 8 & Possibly Season 9

"Bones" creator Hart Hanson, whose Fox drama is currently in its seventh season, said he believes the show will make it to its eighth and ninth seasons, although he said couldn't reassure fans that it will definitely do so, reports Deadline.com.

“In many, many ways, 'Bones' is Fox’s most successful hour-long scripted drama. I’m pretty confident that we’ll be back for seasons eight and nine, yeah," Hanson said, speaking at a PaleyFest panel, the story notes.

The show will end its seventh season with a cliffhanger, although he and executive producer Stephen Nathan wouldn't disclose details, the story adds.

Said Nathan: “There will be a large cliff that people will be hanging from. It’ll change the course, certainly the beginning, of season eight.”
