Steven Tyler's Daughter Begged Him to Turn Down 'American Idol'
- Chelsea Tyler begged her rocker dad, Steven Tyler, to turn down an offer to be an "American Idol" judge.
"I was definitely pushing toward a no when he got the offer," she told Page Six Magazine, out Thursday. "I thought it was a little cheesy." But she says his commitment to the job made her reconsider. Chelsea added, "I didn't realize the heart he was going to put into it. That's really him, and I have a tendency to want to keep him private.
