The 90s version of this show is not as good...

I was a very small child in the late 1980s when this came on, and I remember TGIF. I liked it for that nostalgia. But after the birth of the twins, I stopped watching. I catch re-runs of the show that went up to 1995, and it was just awful. Im sorry , but I couldnt watch. It was depressing. I liked the earlier episodes better. I didnt like how the characters changed. I could tell John Stamos really hated doing the show- maybe that was partly it.

I remember in 1991 I stopped watching. I didnt miss much.
