Jes's known a lot gentlemen this season, what's different about the upcoming arc with Dermot Mulroney?

Well he's a sophisticated man who comes a courtin'.



Is she wooed by the sophistication?

She is, he's very fancy.



A lot of people are fond of your collabs. with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and you guys are friends, will he ever come on the show?

I don't know, he's so busy...



You're busy too.

I am.



This schedule must be really different from what you're used to in the past.

It's a real marathon, we've been doing it for 7 months, every day, but it's been so fun. I love getting to create a character over a long period of time.



How has it affected your hiatus? What do you plan to do when you're on break from "New Girl"?

I know that I definitely need to rest, because it's so tiring. You need time to clear your head and recuperate because if you don't, I think, it will be very hard to go back to work in September.



Is anything calling out to you right now, music or film?

I really want to get back in the studio, I have a lot of stuff that I want to record. I've written a lot of songs.
