Default a question about forum levels
I notice I am credited as "Senior Member" and others are posted as "Forum Legend", I'm simply curious as to how that is determined? Is it solely on post counts or on how long somebody has been posting at the site? What are all the levels and how often does somebody's status change?

I'm just curious is all.

It's determined by post count, Cactus Jack has over 100,000 posts and is a Forum Idol, I believe you become a Forum Legend at 50,000 posts. There are other levels such as Forum Veteran (which I am ) and I think that's achieved at either 5,000 or 10,000 posts.

Thank you! I have over 5,000 posts but not 10,000 so I imagine that the next level (veteran) is likely somewhere between them! i can't believe I've been posting at SOL for so many years; i still remember when it was a brand new site! Wasn't there even a test site at some point or something?

Forum Veteran must be at 10,000 posts then since you have over 5,000 and haven't achieved that status yet.

Thanks Charles. I think there's another one that has the lists of them but I'm not sure if it was updated because the Forum Legend and Celebrity were switched. I remember at one time I was a Forum Legend and then I got switched to Forum Celebrity and then when I hit 50,000 posts, I went back to Forum Legend.
