Tracy Wells' Real Name - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I'm glad to see that imdb.com has finally posted Tracy's real name. Not that I was shocked, I know many actors have stage names. Never knew her real name was Tracy Anne Brockstein until recently. It's amazing what a few old People Magazine articles and an intellius.us search can find! I think she is very talented and underrated, and it's a damn shame she's hasn't done any film or t.v. work since 1994! She does have professional management now, so I don't think she's technically retired from acting, as was once stated on imdb.com

Tracy isn't the only cast member on Mr. Belvedere to have his or her name changed for film and television.

Brice Beckham's real name is not Brice Beckham. It's actually James Brice Beckham.

Vahan, thank you for your quick reply. I see from your previous posts that you seem to be a very enthusiastic expert on Belvedere. I did read somewhere about Brice Beckham's real first name, but I kind of filed that away. Thanks for reminding me. As for Tracy, I guess I thought that Brockstein was significantly different than "Wells", because at least Brice Beckham kept his real last name. It's no big deal, I just hever had heard this before before, and I'm a long-time Belvedere fan. Apparently Tracy has a sister named Carrie Brockstein (Wells) who did some commercials back in the '80's, and was also an actress in an '80's t.v. movie

Lots of country singers use their middle name for some reason.

A lot of child actors aren't billed under their real names. For one thing it helps protect their privacy!

lol, that is his real name, he just goes by his middle name instead of his first---lots of everyday people do that too.

I never knew that Tracy Wells wasnt her real name. I'm somewhat shocked.
