For example, I just watched the episode where Michael goes into the woods by himself, only Dwight secretly stays to watch over him. Too funny, Michael's cutting his pants off at the knees when it gets too hot, and taping them back together when it gets cold, lmao.
Finally, Michael starts to eat poison mushrooms. Dwight goes into one of his charge routines and pounces on Michael to get them out of his mouth. Dwight has tackled several people in the office. Rainn Wilson is a very large man. Having him jump on or tackle another person would be dangerous. It often looks so real. Think they're using doubles or creative filming or what? |

You are correct Janice, Rainn Wilson aka Dwight does use a stunt double on the Office. His name is Sky Elobar.

Wow, thanks Brian. Of all the characters, I'd say Dwight's role is the most physical. He's always climbing up buildings, poking in the office ceiling, looking for birds that turn out to be a bat that he captures in a trash bag around Meredith's head.
![]() Seriously, when he saw that bat in the ceiling, "Dwight" fell to the floor, and I knew that had to be a double. |
