Default I don't think Trouble will be showing "The Bicycle Man"

It looks rather surprisingly like Trouble have decided not to show The Bicycle Man because looking at their shedules from now until they start showing repeats there are 2 episodes missed out so I'm guessing it will be that. If they don't show it I'll be interested to E-Mail them to ask why not.

Looking at the shedules for next week it says The Bicycle Man will be shown on Trouble- but I think they could pull the plug on it at the last minuete like they did with the "Peacemaker" episode the other day when Willis gets a gun.

Hi Jethro .

I was really mad when Trouble didn't show 'Peacemaker', as I'd been looking forward to that ep.

I bet you a million pounds that they won't air Bicycle Man. Sure it's listed, but I think there's at least five or ten episodes that they've refused to air...I'm certain Bicycle Man will be one. If Trouble don't air it, I will NEVER see the episode and it's one I've been longing to see since I became a DS fan. I really hate cencorship. If kids in the 80s could handle watching Bicycle Man, then surely kids of today could, too. It's crazy.

Hi

I was really looking forward to the peacemaket episode too, storylines with guns seem to be really sensative for all shows.

I was looking through and so far the following episodes from the first 5 seasons haven't been shown by Trouble-

The spanking
No Time For Arnold
Arnold's girlfriend 1&2
Skin deep Or true Blue
The Ancestors
The Athlete
Growing Up
Hello Daddy
The Peacemaker

Having seen Skin Deep and The ancestors, I can understand why truoble may not have wanted to show them for racial reasons but I don't have a clue why for the rest of them.

I'll be watching with my tape ready to record The Bicycle Man (I think it's part 1 430pm Saturday repeared 12pm Sunday) but they'll probably show the Father and Son contest episode AGAIN!

If they don't show it I could try doing a copy again for you, it didn't work before but it could if I use another video recorder. I also got a Britsh tape with some later episodes on recently, that should probably copy if you're interested.

Tonight's episode looks good- I thought last night's was a bit stupid, I doubt Drummond would ever punch anyone.

Oh, and I forgot to say, look out for the episode "A Growing Problem" this week because it's really good.

Hi, Jethro. Nice to be talking to you again.

Maybe Trouble didn't show Peacemaker because of the Dunblain (I'm sure I've spelt that wrong) school shooting that happened years ago. Maybe they think anything that features guns in a big way would offend some people and they'd get in trouble. Just a thought...I still think they should show it anyway, though.

If Trouble air Father And Son Contest one more time I think I'll scream. It's no way one of the best DS episodes. Actually it's one of my least favourites but that could be because I've seen it so many darn times.

I missed last night's episode but looks like that wasn't a bad thing. Drummond punched someone? That sounds really out of character. Who did he hit and why did he do it?

Well anyway I'll send you an email about the tapes and I'll be sure to watch 'A Growing Problem'. That's if they air it. Knowing Trouble they'll probably replace it with something else - they seem to not want to air good episodes of DS lately.

By the way, I just remembered that I don't have your email address anymore so could YOU mail me at Nightshade38@aol.com so we can discuss the tapes. Thanks!

its really sad to admitt this, but The Bicycle Man one is my favorite episode!!!!!Its one of those "afterschool special"-type one that warns little kids not to go off with strangers(in the same vein as the Tootie almost becomes a prostitute classic!!)"Tarzan never wore a shirt, children in France drink wine all the time!!!"Classic!!To this day whenever my friend Karl see's a camera he says "You know,Tarzan never wore a shirt......"Its just a classic !

No, they didn't show it on Trouble, they showed The Bank Job instead.
It is due to be again tommorow so I'll look out just in case...
