How many fans think this part should be CUT from syndication on cable?

The last episode when the Trio walks out the door and it shuts and the Lights goes out, I think that should be the ending and then the closing credits should be next because after that the scene is a set up for the spinoff which most of the time you don't get to see.

Seeing the trio walk out the door is a ending to Three's Company. Everything else after that is just pointless if you can't watch Three's a Crowd

Anyone agree?

Everyone doesn't have Antenna TV and even if they did the scene is not related to Three's Company.

Yea I always thought it should have been cut out. There were enough scenes that were cut out of the syndication prints to fill in the missing time. Until TAC started airing on Antenna TV, I hadn't seen the show since ABC aired daytime reruns of it in 1985-86. Maybe on the stations that actually aired TAC they could have kept it in but most of the country never got TAC or the Ropers in syndication.

Exactly, why show the TAC set up scene in syndication on cable to a new fan of the show when they may not have Antenna TV. One thing TV land did last night was not show the last part when Three's Company turns into Three's a Crowd

The show only airs on TV Land and Antenna TV. So it makes sense for Antenna TV to air that scene. TV Land only airs the series in late nights/early mornings anyway.

Keep in mind that additional scene with Jack and Vicky was only created because the fans were being set up for what was to follow the next week. So that's why I never understood why it was shown with the last episode

That entire part should have been it's own thing in the first place. I hate how Three's Company didn't get a good send off because they were so focused on Three's A Crowd. That will always bother me.

It was even worse when it originally aired. First they announced that TC was ending and the final was scheduled for May. At the last minute, they decided to hold off airing the final until September ....a week before TAC premiered. hno:

Yea. We all had to wait until the fall. They aired the first part where Jack met Vicky in the spring but the final one hour episode was held until September. Talk about disrespecting the fans...hno:
