First Look: Courteney Cox Directs "Cougar Town"

"Cougar Town's" Courteney Cox pulled double duty on the set of her sitcom to direct the March 6 episode, her inaugural foray into helming a comedy.

"I had directed Laura Dern in a short for Glamour magazine's Reel Moments campaign, but this was my first time directing a show," says Cox. "I loved it."





In the episode, Cox's Jules teams up with Ian Gomez's Andy on what sounds like the world's nuttiest town watch.

"We did a takeoff of 'Braveheart'," says Cox. "There are these boys on bicycles who are trying to take over the neighborhood, so we have this whole standoff."

They may take the cul-de-sac, but they will never take their freedom!
