Is Darvin Moon the Darvin Moon? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I did a search so I apologize if this has been asked, but I didn't see it.

I've seen the Paul Ferrell case countless times, and it's one that I know pretty much inside and out. So in 2009, during the World Series of Poker when a logger from Maryland named Darvin Moon took 2nd place, I took notice.

Darvin Moon was Cathy Ford's boyfriend named in the UM segment. Is the Darvin Moon from the UM segment the same Darvin Moon who played in the WSOP? I assume Darvin Moon is not a common name, so I can't see how it couldn't be him, but the people here seem to be pretty knowledgeable so I figured this is the best place to ask!
