Default Hey lushs' what's your favorite liquor?

I absolutely hate the taste of liquor. Even back in my hardcore drinking days, I only drank for the buzz, but hated the flavor of liquor. I even hated the flavor of beer. Many is the time that I threw up in my mouth trying to get the crap down. When I was messed up though, I'd pretty much drink anything that got the job done. My drink of choice was ManaPalowa vodka. My friend Preston who is 6'3" would sometimes ask me, how are you still standing? As I'd finish off a bottle at only 5'5" and a half. I would often drink 3 times as much as peeps twice my size, yet they'd be more messed up than me. Sometimes it would take up to 15 shots just to give me a buzz. What's your favorite kind of liquor?

Old Bushmills Irish Whiskey is perhaps my favorite alcoholic beverage.

I'm also big on Jack Daniels.

For the "soft stuff" I'm into Godiva White Chocolate and Mocha Liquor.

I also love Bailey's Irish Cream (I read somewhere that a non-alcoholic version has been released, but I've never tried it)

The only beer I'm into is Guinness Extra Stout.

I do not care for champagne at all.

Though I like wine and (some) beer...vodka's my thing.

It's also one of the main ingredients to my favorite mixed drink...Sex-on-the-Beach!

I like Sex On A Beach too, but not the drink. lol

I haven't had much experience with Whiskey, but that's my friend Preston's favorite too.

Although I rarely drink now, I used to love Jack Daniels or Wild Turkey when I wanted the harder stuff. Other times I drank blackberry brandy(tastes good with Mountain Dew) or Dr. Mcgillicuddy, which I always called mouth wash(hey, it's nice and minty).
Then other times when I went out to the clubs I drank a lot of wine coolers. Remember those?! Yeah, I was kind of an "all around" drinker.

You sound like my friend and I. While other people were passing out, we'd just be starting to get a buzz. I don't know if I could drink like that now. And I don't know that I would care to try anyway.

Thanks for sharing guys!! I can't believe I forgot to put Tequila up there. Thanks for the reminder Marlene. LOL Sterling! What's weird is that I've only blacked out from alcohol twice in my life, and when I did, it was over beer, not hard liquor. I think mixing it with all my meds that I use to take is what did it. The first time I blacked out, I woke up at about three am lying upside down on the slide in the park down the street from my old house. Weird thing was, I had no recollection of how I got there, and I even had scratch it tickets lying next to me. I watched the news the next morning to make sure I didn't rob the mini mart or something, because I didn't have any money, and have no idea where they came from.

I voted whiskey, though I don't drink much hard liquor anymore, but I also drank vodka, rum, and tequila. Also remember Jägermeister was popular amongst the group.

I can't stand wine, not a big fan of champagne, though I do drink Mimosas on occasion.

When I do drink it's beer, anything Henry Weinhard. And have been enjoying hot buttered rum.

I love a good drink. Scotch, Bourbon and Rum are faves. Dont like Brandy, and I can only do Vodka and Tequila if its mixed with something.

I'm sorry I missed so many guys. I put this up on the spur of the moment, and should have took more time with more choices. Also should have allowed for multiple choice answers. Sorry about that!
