why aren't the Sanford spinoffs on DVD?

Because Fred was not on either of the spinoffs and it wouldn't make enough money to release on DVD.

Sanford Arms would have Aunt Esther on the front and Grady would have Grady on the front. I stated years ago that the way they should promote both spinoffs on DVD is to have Fred real small in the background and title it "Sanford and Son Spinoffs

It would make sense to release both spinoffs to be on the same set since Grady only had 13 eps and Sanford Arms only had 8 episodes

I think a "Grady"/"Sanford Arms" set may work for the Sanford "niche audience".
I'd love a "Sanford" complete series set!

That's the only way to market them since they were short-lived. They can call it "Sanford and Friends"


They wouldn't release Checking In alone since it was so short-lived like Sanford Arms.

1. Sanford was not a spinoff it was a revival series with the star with a new situation

2. The series is complete on DVD non-commercially


I have all 26 eps of Sanford so that show doesn't ever have to come out on DVD LOL

Ah, but the key word is NON-COMMERCIALLY. Besides, it is still a part of the "Sanford Universe."

Did you know that BET brought the show back in 2008 and aired a all day marathon? That's how I was able to record them all

Pav posted the annoucement and yes you did respond-lol He said Sanford was coming to BET in March. It was also another marathon in June of the same year. So it defintely was announced

I still prefer the annoucements to be on the message boards so it can add activity to the board. Not a huge fan of the blog
