What case is this? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

It was about a guy who survived a car pile-up that killed all the other car's occupants. He received threats from the decedent's families and in fear for his life, fled the country. He was arrested in Dublin, Ireland in 2005 and sent to prison.

I don't remember his name but he was blamed for the pile-up because he had alcohol and/or drugs in his system, but so did the others who died. I find it funny that they fully put the blame on him when it could've been any of the other drivers and this guy just happened to live the crash.

Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like Frederick Russell. It's been speculated that his parents helped him jump bail and hide out in Ireland. Arrogant little punk
