Sneak Peek: Bryan Cranston's 'Cleveland Show' Character Unveiled!

Bryan Cranston seems determined to cram as much work into his Breaking Bad hiatus as possible. Next up for the busy actor/director: not one but two roles on The Cleveland Show.

In the Feb. 19 episode of the Fox ‘toon, Cleveland and Rallo form a father and son ventriloquist act, which gets rave reviews from critic Graham Kensington (voiced by Cranston, see his animated alter ego below).

“Working with Bryan was extremely disappointing. He wasn’t bald, said he couldn’t actually cook meth, and I’m pretty sure he took a bottle of water without asking,” deadpans executive producer Mike Henry, referencing Cranston’s Breaking Bad character Walter White.

Cranston — who we just reported will be directing an upcoming episode of Modern Family — must’ve done something right since he was invited to return to Cleveland next season in the recurring role of the Brown family physician Dr. Fist, who comes to town with a deep secret.

“Bryan can do it all,” raves fellow Cleveland EP Rich Appel, “comedy, drama, and… well, I guess that’s it. But that’s a lot.”
