When I feel sad about the mess this nation is in, I put on I Love Lucy and it always takes me away. I think because things were so simple back then. You see the more complicated life gets, the more the need for simplicity. It's also the laughs that makes me feel so good. It actually helps me deal with things more.

I agree. 'I Love Lucy' reruns are the perfect way to temporarily escape from life and have a good belly laugh.
