Working In Restaurants - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I like working but sometimes working in a restaurant can be demanding. I have seen stuff that would really turn customers off. Strange thing is, since I started working in a restaurant, I have lost my desire to eat out like I used to. If I do switch careers again someday, I dont think it will be in a restaurant.

The restaurants in our county are inspected quite often & without notice so it tends to keep everyone on their best behavior. You don't want to get a bad rating or have the risk of being shut down. I work part-time on the weekends as a waitress & we do our best to keep a clean & sanitary environment. I wish all restaurants would follow this practice.
