Post Satellite Guide for August

Does anyone have this? I'd like to know the Hallmark Channel, TNN, and N@N schedules for August.

I want to know if Hallmark will carry ALF? TNN's lineup from 9AM-9PM I'd like to know, and the Nick at Nite lineup for Sun-Thurs 1AM-5:30AM, Fri and Sat 10PM-5:30AM!

Thanks!

Question

twinkle44301, what happened to WKRP, Taxi and most importantly Newhart on TNN? This is a nightmare if Newhart isn't on. I was taping a volume set for my brother and only need about 20 episodes to finish it off.

thanks

What the hek did TNN do?? Adding Cooper is good though! What happened to WKRP and Newhart? Are they past 11PM? I know Taxi is leaving and Wonder Years too, so this lineup could get better in September since Wonder Years is leaving...

When does this start by the way (TNN)? I know it will be better in September for TNN, maybe Laverne & Shirley, ALF or Facts of Life will replace the 2 hour slot of Wonder Years...

I am not sure what happened with WKRP, Taxi, & Newhart, but they aren't listed in my August satellite guide. The shows I listed start on August 1st. I will look at my July guide and see if any of the changes show up then. As for what I see on my satellite(with the exception that I get an east and west feed), is what everyone else sees.

We use Netlink as our program supplier, and I do know that with these monthly guides, they are not always accurate. They print one thing, and by the time the middle of the month rolls around, the stations are showing something else. I do remember that last year, my guide showed that TV Land was running a holiday marathon one weekend, but at the TV Land site, it showed something else. However, eventually TV Land changed their site, and they did indeed run the holiday marathon.

I am surprised TNN has dropped Taxi, WRKP and Newhart so quickly. Maybe they plan on bringing them back in September. I think Picket Fences has been MIA for a bit, but they are bringing it back in August.

Ok I checked TNN's schedule to see if any of these shows were airing later. Here is the only thing I found.

Monday
9-11PM Wrestling
11-midnight-Rodeo
12-1AM-Real TV
1-2-Miami Vice(repeat from earlier in day)
2-3-Martial Law(also a repeat)
3:00-Paid programming

Tuesday
9-11:30-Movie
11:30-Mad TV
Midnight-1-Real TV
1-2-Miami Vice(repeat)
2-3-Martial Law(repeat)
3:00-Paid programming

Wednesday
the same as Tuesday

Thursday
the same as Tuesday

Friday
about the same

I flipped through the entire month, and there are some slight variations to TNN's programming(movies here and there, and some other shows...Robot Wars, Ultimate Revenge, but I see no sigh of any of Taxi, Newhart or WKRP).

But like I said before, these guides are printed up way in advance and I have many times seen the programs change. It does seem like an odd move on TNN's part.

ClickTV lists this for August 1st:
9-10 Taxi
10-11 Starsky and Hutch
11-12 Dukes of Hazzard
12-1 Martial Law
1-2 Miami Vice
2-3 Picket Fences
3-4 Dukes of Hazzard
4-5 Starsky and Hutch
5-6 Picket Fences
6-7 Dukes of Hazzard
7-8 Martial Law

This is getting really confusing...

Yes, pavanbadal...you're right. This is getting really confusing!

I have one question though. Why is TNN picking up Real TV? It doesn't make sense to me but then again TNN usually doesn't make sense.

And now possibly no Wonder Years? Argh! I'm only missing about 2-3 episodes to finish off my set. I know it's going to FFC in September but they cut the ending and I've heard they do cut some episodes and parts of them. Sure the black bar at TNN is annoying but at least you get the whole entire episode.
