I can't find it

I cannot find the episode where Cpl Agarn says the immortal line: "There goes a bird and I think it's a lark". I'm new to this board, and I can't tell if it's been posted elsewhere, but I haven't seen it.

Either none of you knew, or you thought it was a stupid question, in which case you were simply being full of yourself by not answering.

Anyway, I found it myself. It's in the episode "How To Be F Troop Without Really Trying". Love it.

It's been years, but from what I remember it was one of those bits where Agarn says one thing and then when asked what he said, he rephrases it to avoid "spilling the beans" about something. It was done a few times throughout the series.

In this case I think that they had arranged a phony attack from the Hekawis and when an officer mentions a time for an attack I think Agarn stated: "Better make it noon, they're afraid of the dark;" and when asked to repeat it, changes it to: "There goes a bird and I think it's a lark."

Thanks caladon but I was referring to what made the line immortal.

I'm not sure what makes that particular line immortal either. I would just consider it one of the running gags associated with the character Agarn.
