A two-part episode of "On the Case with Paula Zahn" concerning the Oba Chandler case (where three women, the Rogers--a mother and two daughters--were discovered murdered off the coast of Tampa) began a few minutes ago (10 am EST Sat. 1/28/2012) on Investigation Discovery.
It originally aired a week or two ago--lots of interviews with law enforcement, the victims' family (including the husband and father of the victims), and Chandler's neighbors, who suspected him. This is the same program that did a special recently on Lisa Marie Kimmell (the Lil' Miss murder). Compared to some true crime programs, "On the Case" seems to be more thorough and less sensationalistic, but nevertheless riveting. Worth checking out. |

The woman who was killed in the cementary has a hour long show dedicated to the case this week on one of these kind of shows. I'll double check my DVR and report back the actual name.

I've watched that one, it's a two-parter. I felt so sorry for Mr. Rogers, how he's been all alone at that HUGE dairy farm. But all that farming seems to keep him busy, which is how he's managed to stay sane after all these years.

The UM segment on the Oba Chandler case wasn't very long, but the two hour Paula Zahn segment was excellent. It even showed the clothes the women were wearing and the cinder blocks.
