By saying the Timmy and Lassie Hour I presume that means they're only showing Seasons 5-8, leaving out how Timmy wound up on the Farm in the first place. (Season 4, Episode 1), How he became the Owner of Lassie (Season 4 Episode 13) Lassie's Future Owner (Season 10 Episodes 17-21) and finally how Timmy was forced to part company with the dawg (Season 11, Episodes 1-3). Oh well, thanks to y2k3 Joker, I have those "Lost" Episodes to watch at my leisure.

I would be thankful for any season of that show. I continue to hope that someday there will be a classic TV network for those of us who have no other options except a Dish.

I occasionally watch the Night Owl block on qubo which has these same toons from Classic Media and is also free OTA. In addition, RTV has been airing them for years in the same Saturday morning slot that MeTV is planning to use. Not sure what they are hoping to accomplish by making the same block of shows available on 3 OTA channels.

IMO they should have went after some more unique properties if they wanted to add a Saturday morning block. There are TONS of Saturday morning cartoon shows that are rarely seen anymore. What about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Real Ghostbusters, Transformers, Speed Racer, G.I. Joe, Super Friends - none of which have been in the OTA market for decades. I am guessing this stems back to the deal they made with Classic Media for the holiday specials they aired. Probably picked this up pretty cheap lol.

If you are speaking about Lassie I agree with you, somewhat. However I wish someone would just run the entire series INTACT instead of running only a segment. "Splitting" a Series is taking a Symphony and breaking it up. Let's take Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, for example. What if those who were in charge of this only let everyone play the second two notes because they say "Those were the most Popular". Hey, it would definately be MISSING SOMETHING wouldn't it? Same thing for Lassie, there was a lot more than just the "Timmy" years. I was first introduced to this series in 1966, when it was into its "Ranger" years. I soon found out there were two other "Versions" floating out there on the channels, namely "Jeff's Collie" and the Timmy Years. In both cases they never showed the episodes where the dawg changed owners, and it wasn't until the advent of the Internet that I realised this was one huge TV Series! Naturally I began questioning why these episodes (Along with the Seasons they were in) were never shown. If it hadn't been for the sets offered by Y2K3 Joker, I may have never seen them!

BTW we need several OTA Classic Stations. Lassie would fit in a Channel that offered only Family-Friendly Dramas such as this one. Other Channels could be dedicated to Vintage Sitcoms, Police Shows, Adventure Shows, Classic Science-Fiction, and so-on. What do all of you think?

Yes that would be great but there are a lot of us who can't get any OTA stations. We can't get cable either so......I hope that someday Soon, there will be classic shows on something other than TV Land. It just doesn't offer much IMO.

Interesting that they never considered adding "Lassie's Rescue Rangers" to their lineup, if they're going to include that kind of programming.
